It works like the original. my cat destroyed my original cable so I had to buy this one.
This cord was exactly what I needed and worked as perfectly as the one I originally got with my Treo.
Good quality for the price. When Palm Pilot's tech support, which was surprisingly good, a four star service, diagnosed my backup problem as caused by a defect in the cable shipped with the T|X, I ordered this replacement from Amazon. It fits the socket on the T|X better than the original.
I had lost my cable and the CD this was a great price and arrived quickly.
I see in one review that his cable didn't have this feature, the seller must have two styles in stock. I ordered two, both are OEM, they have the through port into which I can plug a charger.
